In the vertical transportation system of modern buildings, the machine room panoramic elevator plays an extremely critical role. With the rapid development of science and technology, various advanced technologies are widely used to ensure the safety and reliability of its operation, among which the application of sensor technology is particularly prominent. The machine room passenger elevator is equipped with various types of sensors, which are like the "nerve endings" of the elevator, sensing various key information in the elevator operation process in real time, and accurately transmitting these data to the elevator control system, providing a solid guarantee for the stable and safe operation of the elevator.

In the machine room panoramic elevator, the position sensor bears the important task of accurately measuring the position of the car. Common position sensors include rotary encoders and magnetic switches. The rotary encoder is connected to the rotating shaft of the elevator traction machine to convert the vertical displacement of the car into a pulse signal output. Each pulse corresponds to a small displacement of the car. By accurately counting the number of pulses, the control system can grasp the floor position of the car and the precise coordinates in the shaft in real time. The magnetic switch is mostly installed on the shaft wall and the car. Using the principle of magnetic field induction, when the car passes the magnetic switch at a specific floor position, the state of the magnetic switch changes and sends a position signal to the control system to assist in accurately determining the position of the car. This dual-security position monitoring method enables the control system to accurately control the running trajectory of the car and avoid serious accidents such as inaccurate leveling, top or bottom squatting caused by misjudgment of position.

The speed sensor is also an indispensable component of the machine room panoramic elevator. It is mainly used to measure the running speed of the elevator car. Common types include speed generators and Hall speed sensors. The speed generator is coaxially connected to the elevator traction machine, and its output voltage is proportional to the running speed of the car. The control system can convert the real-time speed of the car based on the voltage value. The Hall speed sensor uses the Hall effect to detect the magnetic field changes of the rotating parts, and then accurately calculate the car speed. The data monitored in real time by the speed sensor is of great significance to the safe operation of the elevator. On the one hand, it ensures that the speed of the elevator is stable within the set range during normal operation, avoiding abnormal situations of too fast or too slow speed; on the other hand, when the elevator speed exceeds the preset safety threshold, it can quickly transmit the signal to the control system, trigger the overspeed protection device, and brake the elevator in time to prevent safety accidents caused by high-speed loss of control.

The acceleration sensor is used in the machine room panoramic elevator to monitor the acceleration changes during the operation of the car. When the elevator starts, accelerates, decelerates, and stops, the acceleration will change accordingly. The acceleration sensor senses these changes and feeds the data back to the control system. Based on the acceleration data, the control system can analyze and adjust the operation status of the elevator in more detail to ensure the smooth acceleration and deceleration process of the elevator, avoid discomfort to passengers due to excessive acceleration, and even cause safety hazards. For example, during the acceleration and rise or deceleration of the elevator, if the acceleration sensor detects an abnormal increase in acceleration, the control system will immediately adjust the output power of the traction machine to restore the acceleration to the normal range to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.

The safety of the door system is related to the vital interests of every passenger. The machine room panoramic elevator is also equipped with a variety of sensors on the door system. The door position sensor is used to monitor the switch status of the elevator door in real time to ensure that the door is in the correct position during opening and closing. The light curtain sensor is an important line of defense for the safety of the door system. It is installed on both sides of the entrance and exit of the elevator door to emit and receive infrared light to form a light curtain. When an object blocks any beam of light in the light curtain, the light curtain sensor will immediately detect it and transmit the signal to the control system. The control system will then issue a command to stop the elevator door from closing and reopening immediately, effectively preventing accidents of people and objects being trapped. In addition, there is a door lock sensor to monitor the locking status of the elevator door. Only when the door lock is completely locked and the sensor feedbacks the correct signal, the elevator can operate normally, further ensuring that the elevator door will not open accidentally during operation.

These various sensors installed in different parts of the machine room panoramic elevator collect a large amount of operating data such as car position, speed, acceleration, door switch status, etc. in real time. They transmit these data quickly and accurately to the core of the elevator control system - the central processing unit (CPU) through high-speed data transmission lines. In the CPU, a special algorithm program analyzes and processes these data in real time. Once the data is abnormal, such as the car position deviates from the normal track, the speed exceeds the safety range, the acceleration is too large, or the door system is abnormal, the control system will respond in a very short time. It will immediately start the preset safety protection program, such as triggering the emergency brake device to stop the elevator quickly to avoid further expansion of the danger; at the same time, the control system will automatically trigger the alarm device to send an alarm message to the elevator monitoring center and relevant maintenance personnel to inform the specific fault type and location of the elevator, so that the maintenance personnel can rush to the scene in time to troubleshoot and repair the fault.

The machine room panoramic elevator has built a comprehensive and high-precision operation status monitoring system with various sensors. These sensors are like loyal guards, always guarding the safety of the elevator operation and escorting passengers' convenient travel. Through real-time monitoring, data transmission and intelligent processing, it ensures that the elevator always maintains a stable and safe operation state in a complex and changeable operating environment, becoming a safe and reliable vertical transportation guarantee in modern buildings.
